William Robert George Graham - Information
William was born in Picton on the 28th of January 1899. When the war began, he was living in Elaine at 60 McKenzie St in Leichhardt. Here, William worked as a tailor cutter, while serving 4 years in the Cadets. Claiming that he was over 18, William enlisted on the 9th of May 1916 in Sydney. He was shortly discharged on the 5th of October, due to obligations from a death in the family. He then re-enlisted in the AIF in Liverpool on the 17th of May 1918. He was training at the M & D Depot in Liverpool when the war ended. He was therefore discharged and returned to his civilian life. By late 1930s, he was living in Arncliffe.
