William Oliver Boyd - Information
William was born in Picton on the 28th of May 1898. As the war was raging, he was living in Cobago with his family. Here, William worked as a blacksmith. He enlisted in the AIF on the 21st of April 1918, but was later rejected for being medically unfit. He then enlisted again on the 21st of October 1918 in Cobago, and was transferred to the Invalids Section. However, the war was soon over and his services were no longer required.
