William Dudley Dobell - Information

William Dudley was born in Camden on the 4th of April 1900 to Henry and Elizabeth Dobell. After war commenced, William was living with his family at 342 Railway Parade in Kogarah. He supported himself as a school teacher, after serving for two years in the Senior Cadets. He then got consent from his parents to enlist in the military, joining up a few months after he turned 18, on the 4th of October 1918 in Sydney. He commenced his training at the M & D Depot. However, the war was soon over in mid November. Subsequently, William’s services were no longer required, and he was discharged on the 31st of December 1918.
