Sidney John Brown - Information
Sidney John Brown was born on the 13th of September 1886 in Sydney. Sidney ultimately moved to Campbelltown, where he met Ida Deborah Agatha Cooper. Sidney and Ida married in Campbelltown in 1911 and quickly welcomed the birth of their daughter Valerie Ida in 1913. During the war years, Sidney and his family moved to Church St in Lidcombe, where he found work as a storeman. He then decided to do his duty, enlisting in the military on the 14th of October 1918.
Sidney commenced his training and was still in camp when the war ended on November 11th. He was discharged on the 31st of December. Sidney was very lucky and safely returned home to his family.
