Henry Stanley Brown - Information
As the war was raging, Henry was living on Jersey Rd in Artarmon with his wife Grace. Here, Henry worked as a cloth finisher. He was 26 years old, when he enlisted in Liverpool on the 30th of June 1915, becoming a Trooper to the 6th Light Horse Regiment. However, on the 25th of October, he was discharged from military service. Grace had written the Army, and asked for Henry to be discharged as she did not give him consent to join and she was in a state of ill-health.
