Edward Henry Small - Information

Edward Henry Small was born in Campbelltown on the 18th of August 1899. When the war began, he was working as a brick carter. He and his mother, Emily Herbert, were residing with a Mrs Ellis on Northumberland St in Liverpool. When Edward was 19 years old, he decided to enlist in the AIF, joining up in Hornsby on the 21st of October 1918. However, a few weeks later, the Armistice was announced and he was subsequently discharged. Edward then returned to his mother in Liverpool.
