Edward Arthur Fury was born in Campbelltown c1897. When Edward was just 18 years old, he enlisted in Liverpool on the 24th of July 1915. He spent 13 days training in Camp before he was discharged on the 10th of August. Edward's mother had written the YMCA as he enlisted without her permission and she did not wish him to go to the front. As a result, his enlistment was terminated.
